What is Druidry
From the stone circles and burial mounds of Bronze Age Britain to the romantic, whimsical often fanciful notions of the Victorian revivalists, Druids today have thousands of years of tradition to draw inspiration from.
Modern Druidry is a nature based tradition which teaches self responsibility, encourages creativity and honours the wisdom of the past. To Druids all the earth is sacred; rocks, rivers, trees and even landscapes all have their own essence with which we can make meaningful relationship. Druids seek to know the regenerative powers of nature, celebrating the seasonal cycle of birth, life and death with rites and rituals that encourage an affinity with elemental forces.
Druidry is a journey, for those who wish to make it, into the mysteries of existence. Walking consciously through time and space, respecting the seen and unseen forces and powers that we meet and giving due honour to the all beings Druids seek to live creatively, shining brightly with the inspiration which flows through creation ... join us.
